Expert Concrete Patios in Park City

A concrete patio from Art Of Concrete gives Park City homeowners a hard-wearing outdoor space built to handle the local mountain climate. Park City sees warm summers and cold winters with significant freeze-thaw cycles. That temperature swing puts stress on concrete slabs that are not properly prepared. We address this by compacting the subgrade, grading for drainage, and cutting control joints to reduce cracking. Whether your home is in Park City, Kimball Junction, Jeremy Ranch, or Snyderville, we size and finish each patio to match your yard layout and how you plan to use the space. Call Art Of Concrete to get your Park City patio project started.

Concrete Patios FAQ

Common questions about concrete patios in Park City.

A ground-level concrete patio typically does not require a building permit in Park City under Utah's code. A permit is only needed if the patio includes a permanent roof, is elevated above grade, or involves electrical or plumbing work.

Properly installed concrete patios in Park City hold up well through cold mountain winters when control joints and a compacted base are part of the build. These steps let the slab manage the stress from freeze-thaw cycles without surface damage.

Yes, Art Of Concrete handles sloped yards in Park City by grading the site for drainage before forming and pouring the slab. Good drainage keeps water from pooling on the surface and extends the life of the patio.

Art Of Concrete sizes patios to fit your specific yard and how you plan to use the space in Park City. We assess your lot layout during the site visit and form the slab to match your outdoor living needs.

Park City's mountain soils can shift under a slab if the base is not prepared correctly. Art Of Concrete compacts the subgrade and grades for drainage to keep your patio level and stable.

Larry and his team were amazing to work with. Very communicative and even started sooner than we expected which was awesome because I have a wedding coming up and I needed the RV pad done before that.

I couldn’t be happier with the work from this concrete company. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and clearly take pride in what they do. The quality of the work is outstanding—everything was done with precision and attention to detail, and the finished product looks amazing. They showed up on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and kept the job site clean and organized. It’s rare to find a crew that delivers exactly what they promise, but these guys exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for top-notch concrete work done right the first time, I highly recommend them!

Larry & crew were professional hard working and completed the driveway, sidewalk and porch job ahead of time. New concrete driveway, sidewalk and porch all look great! B & A Pics!

I needed an emergency driveway replacement due to an HOA compliance complaint that was blocking the closing of my property!! Larry came to the rescue! I called him on Monday, he showed up that afternoon and gave me the estimate. Larry and his crew started the work the very next day on Tuesday and completed it on Wednesday. Larry and his crew are very professional, they know what they are doing and they got the work done fast. I'm incredibly grateful!

I was fortunate enough that when I needed a driveway, RV pad, and new front steps, that my neighbor had just had their driveway done earlier in the year by someone that they would recommend. That someone was Larry (Art of Concrete). Getting contractors that are available and timely can be laughably hard. In my case, Larry came out to quote me in a day, committed to a really good price for the work, scheduled the work quickly (within 3 days) and then showed up on time to get the job done. Larry's crew was good to work with, they were responsive and did quality work. Larry himself is a really good guy, who helped us along the way when we had change orders or couldn't figure out exactly what we wanted to do (i.e. we ended up having him pour a really cool plantar box). In all we had an RV pad poured, a retaining wall next to RV pad, a new driveway, front steps and stoop, and new sidewalk sections. This was all for a raised ranch up in the benches which had a fairly steep grade for the driveway. Larry did right by us for a fair price. I would strongly recommend Art of Concrete, they finished the job right and communicated well the whole way.
