Expert Basement Floor Finishing in Park City

Art Of Concrete provides basement floor finishing for Park City homeowners who want to improve the look and durability of their below-grade concrete floors. Unfinished basement concrete is porous, dusty, and susceptible to moisture — all of which are concerns in Park City's mountain climate where seasonal snowmelt and groundwater can affect below-grade spaces. We apply epoxy coatings, concrete sealers, and decorative overlays that seal the surface, reduce dust, and give the floor a finished appearance. Proper surface preparation including grinding and moisture testing is essential for a coating that bonds correctly and lasts. Basement Floor Finishing FAQ

Common questions about basement floor finishing in Park City.

Yes, crack repair and surface leveling are part of our prep work before any finish is applied. Most Tooele County slabs have minor imperfections that we address before the finishing coat goes down.

Moisture testing is a standard part of our process for every Tooele County job. Even slabs that look dry can release vapor that affects how a finish bonds and performs over time.

We apply concrete coatings and surface finishes suited to below-grade slabs in Tooele County's climate. The right option depends on how you plan to use the space and the current condition of your slab.

A professionally finished concrete floor is designed to handle the temperature swings common in Tooele County. Proper surface prep and the right coating system keep the finish from peeling or lifting with seasonal changes.

Contact Art Of Concrete to schedule an on-site assessment of your Tooele County basement. We look at slab condition, moisture levels, and how you plan to use the space before recommending a finish.

A finished concrete floor works well for both uses in Tooele homes. It is easy to clean, holds up under equipment and foot traffic, and does not trap dust or allergens the way carpet does.

Larry and his team were amazing to work with. Very communicative and even started sooner than we expected which was awesome because I have a wedding coming up and I needed the RV pad done before that.

I couldn’t be happier with the work from this concrete company. From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and clearly take pride in what they do. The quality of the work is outstanding—everything was done with precision and attention to detail, and the finished product looks amazing. They showed up on time, communicated clearly throughout the process, and kept the job site clean and organized. It’s rare to find a crew that delivers exactly what they promise, but these guys exceeded expectations. If you’re looking for top-notch concrete work done right the first time, I highly recommend them!

Larry & crew were professional hard working and completed the driveway, sidewalk and porch job ahead of time. New concrete driveway, sidewalk and porch all look great! B & A Pics!

I needed an emergency driveway replacement due to an HOA compliance complaint that was blocking the closing of my property!! Larry came to the rescue! I called him on Monday, he showed up that afternoon and gave me the estimate. Larry and his crew started the work the very next day on Tuesday and completed it on Wednesday. Larry and his crew are very professional, they know what they are doing and they got the work done fast. I'm incredibly grateful!

I was fortunate enough that when I needed a driveway, RV pad, and new front steps, that my neighbor had just had their driveway done earlier in the year by someone that they would recommend. That someone was Larry (Art of Concrete). Getting contractors that are available and timely can be laughably hard. In my case, Larry came out to quote me in a day, committed to a really good price for the work, scheduled the work quickly (within 3 days) and then showed up on time to get the job done. Larry's crew was good to work with, they were responsive and did quality work. Larry himself is a really good guy, who helped us along the way when we had change orders or couldn't figure out exactly what we wanted to do (i.e. we ended up having him pour a really cool plantar box). In all we had an RV pad poured, a retaining wall next to RV pad, a new driveway, front steps and stoop, and new sidewalk sections. This was all for a raised ranch up in the benches which had a fairly steep grade for the driveway. Larry did right by us for a fair price. I would strongly recommend Art of Concrete, they finished the job right and communicated well the whole way.
